Web Design

Website design for service businesses

We build fast, custom websites with a page for every service you offer, phone and booking paths that reach a real person, and tracking set up before launch.

For: Local service businesses, professional services, and founders who need a real web presence.

Sound familiar?

The site doesn’t bring in calls

People land on it and leave. They can’t tell what you do, where you work, or how to reach you fast, so they call the next company.

Google can’t tell what you do

One Services page lists everything. Google has nothing specific to show for “water heater repair” or the towns you actually cover.

You’re stuck with it

A builder subscription you can’t leave, or a developer who holds the keys. Every change is a ticket and an invoice.

What we do

A website built around how customers find and contact you

The build

  • WordPress or Next.js, picked for who will run the site after launch
  • Full remodels or ground-up sites
  • Mobile-first pages that load fast on a phone
  • Custom design around your services, not a recycled theme with your logo swapped in

Pages that get found

  • A page for every service you offer and every area you serve
  • Clean metadata, an XML sitemap and structured data from day one
  • AEO files (llms.txt) and FAQ content so AI tools can describe you correctly
  • Redirect mapping on rebuilds so the rankings you already have carry over

Paths to a person

  • Click-to-call on every page
  • Booking links and forms routed to the right inbox or CRM
  • Every form and call path tested before launch

Tracking from launch

  • Google Analytics 4 and Search Console set up
  • Call tracking where it makes sense
  • Form and booking events you can see by source

WordPress or Next.js?

We build on both. Here’s how we choose.

Both are standard, widely supported platforms. The right one depends on who will run the site after launch.

Either way, the site is yours. If you ever want to move it or hand it to someone else, you can.

WordPress

Best when your team wants to edit pages, publish updates and add services themselves through a familiar dashboard. Huge ecosystem, easy to find help for later.

Next.js

Best for speed and custom features: booking flows, quote calculators, client portals, or connections to your other tools. Fast pages and fewer plugins to maintain.

Rebuilding an existing site

How we rebuild without losing your rankings

A rebuild is where many sites lose ground in Google. Pages get renamed, old links break, and rankings built over years disappear.

Before launch we map every existing URL to its new page and set up permanent redirects, keep the content that already ranks, and submit the new sitemap to Search Console. After launch we watch Search Console for crawl errors and fix them as they show up.

How it works

From first call to running.

  1. 01 · 30 min

    Discovery call

You walk us through your services, your customers and what the current site is or isn’t doing.

  2. 02 · 24–48 hrs

    Scope and fixed quote

A written scope with pages, features, timeline and one fixed price.

  3. 03 · 4–8 weeks

    Design and build

You review designs and a staging site as we go. Content, SEO and tracking are built in, not added at the end.

  4. 04 · Launch week

    Launch

Redirects, forms and call paths verified, tracking checked, and the sitemap submitted to Google.

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a website build take?

Most full rebuilds take 4–8 weeks from signed scope to launch. Smaller add-ons to an existing site usually take 1–3 weeks. The timeline is in the written scope before you sign.

Do I own the site?

Yes. Your domain, hosting, code and data sit in accounts in your name. We build on standard platforms with no proprietary CMS and no platform fee, so you can maintain it, move it, or hire someone else at any time.

Should I use WordPress or Next.js?

WordPress if your team wants to edit pages and post updates themselves. Next.js if speed and custom features matter more, like booking flows, calculators, portals or integrations. We recommend one after the first call and explain why.

Will I lose my Google rankings when you rebuild?

Not if the move is handled properly. We map every existing URL to its new page, set up permanent redirects, keep the content that already ranks, and watch Search Console after launch. Some movement in the first weeks is normal; the redirect work is what keeps it temporary.

Do you write the content?

Yes. We write the page copy from what you tell us on a call and what’s already on your site, and you approve every page. The more specifics you give us, like real jobs, towns and equipment, the better the pages.

What do you need from me?

A kickoff call, access to your domain and current site, photos of real jobs if you have them, and quick reviews of designs and page copy. We handle the rest.

Do you do hosting?

We set hosting up in an account in your name, so you’re never locked to us. If you choose an upkeep plan, we keep an eye on it for you.

What happens after launch?

You choose. Monitoring is $50/month: we watch it and fix anything that breaks. Active Optimization is $150/month: monitoring plus monthly reviews and improvements. Or own it outright for $0/month and call us when you need us.
